Traditional Sauna Ritual – 2.5 h
For those who want to stay in the sauna a little longer and experience the ritual in its full depth.
The Traditional Sauna Ritual is a 2.5-hour immersive sauna experience. The generous amount of time allows the journey to unfold without hurry – from heat to rest, from whisking to water, and back again to the warmth of the sauna.
The ritual draws on traditional Finnish sauna practices and combines different sauna whisks, local plants, heat, water, scents, touch and natural skin care. Traditional incantations are also used to guide the different stages of the ritual, creating a connection to the old Finnish sauna tradition.
The longer ritual also includes floating, giving you a moment to surrender your weight and rest while being supported by the water.
During the experience, you will also enjoy small sauna bites made from local delicacies. The flavours add another layer to the journey and bring a taste of the local food tradition into the sauna experience.
Your sauna experience
Every Traditional Sauna Ritual is created around the person receiving it. The temperature, intensity of the treatments, whisks, scents and overall rhythm are adapted according to your previous sauna experience, your wishes and how you are feeling on the day.
When booking, you can tell me what you would like from your sauna: stronger whisking, deep relaxation, natural scents, silence or something entirely different. Please also mention any food or plant allergies, dietary requirements and other wishes or relevant information in the additional information field.
This experience is especially suited to those who already have some sauna experience and wish to go deeper into the Finnish sauna tradition. A long sauna ritual can be a powerful experience, but it also leaves plenty of space for rest, stillness and simply allowing the sauna to do its work.
For one person 280 €
